Movie Poster Design

Project Overview
Official movie posters were designed for Kaagaz 2 and Patna Shukla, produced by Salman Khan Films (SKF). The objective was to develop visually engaging posters that captured the core narrative and emotional depth of each film—prior to the release of any video content or promotional material. Concepts were developed solely based on storyline narrations and creative direction provided by the production house. The final designs served as key visual assets for internal and early-stage promotional use.
- Designed official movie posters for Salman Khan Films (SKF) productions: Kaagaz 2 and Patna Shukla.
- Worked directly with the production house to deliver high-impact visuals aligned with the movie’s narrative.
- Developed creative concepts based solely on script narration, without access to trailers or finalized scenes.
- Delivered compelling poster designs that captured the essence and tone of each film before promotional content was even released.

Challenge
The project involved working with extremely limited creative assets. Only a few raw images were provided, without finalized character styling, lighting, or production backgrounds. No trailers, set visuals, or clips were available during the design process. Creative direction was derived entirely from narration, requiring deep interpretation of the storyline to visualize tone, setting, and character dynamics. Despite these constraints, the task demanded high-level execution and originality under tight creative conditions.
- Received minimal raw images with no finalized assets or production stills.
- Posters had to be conceptualized without watching any footage or clips from the film.
- Worked without clear visual references for character styling, tone, or mood.
- Required to interpret the story purely through narration and translate it into impactful visual storytelling.
Results
Posters were successfully delivered to Salman Khan Films and received positive feedback from the production team. Designs effectively reflected the narrative and mood of each film, maintaining visual impact despite the limited inputs. The outcome demonstrated strong creative thinking, storytelling ability, and adaptability in high-pressure, low-reference scenarios.
